Self education expenses
Wednesday, April 12th, 2006Self education expenses can only be claimed if your education directly relates to your current job.
If you get a job after you have started your schooling, you CANNOT claim self education, even if it relates to your job. The job must come first, and the education is to enhance the job role. That is not to say that further education continued after you have your job cannot be claimed. Sometimes, it can.
